my name is faye grace; i am a graphic design and illustration student currently living in south ayrshire, and gearing up to begin my bachelor's degree in visual communication in september. the natural world has always been and continues to be my biggest inspiration, from drawing seascapes or doodling bugs - growing up, j.m.w. turner captured my heart with his gorgeous en plein air work, and van gogh's bright colours and expressive brushstrokes have made me realise how much i appreciate vibrant hues! my artistic process involves a mixture of many different mediums, including three dimensional crafted objects, watercolour, acrylic, and collage. 

if i were to define my style, i would describe it as a mixture of realism, whimsy and childlike charm. my biggest goal in 2025 and onwards as i continue to develop my art is focusing on sustainability and protecting our earth, and in an ever changing world full of difficulty, i want in any small way i can to bring childlike joy to people's hearts.

when i'm not sketching or daydreaming, i have my nose buried in a book, or go wandering down the rockpools to look for different types of crystals and rocks! i also love birdwatching, practicing yoga, journalling and drinking tea.
